Interpreting Your Results:
Your Toxi Shield by Safety StripsTM Fentanyl testing strip result will be one of three possible scenarios, indicated by the indicators illustrated below.
Positive (+ Pos): This result, indicated by two red lines at the T (Test) and C (Control) positions, means that fentanyl has been detected in the sample. This is a clear signal to exercise caution and confirms the presence of fentanyl.
Negative (- Neg): Shown as a single red line at the C (Control) position, this result suggests that fentanyl could not be detected in the sample. However, it does not guarantee that the sample is completely free of other substances or impurities.
Invalid: If the test fails to display a red line at the C (Control) position, the result is deemed invalid. This suggests an error in the testing process or that the test strip is defective. Users are advised to retest using a new strip to ensure accuracy.
Additional Information:
Warning: The test strips do not guarantee that substances are free from all synthetic opioids. It's advised never to use substances alone and always carry Naloxone (also known as Narcan), an emergency medication designed to reverse opioid overdose.
